This terminal is exclusively for domestic passengers. This terminal consists of two floors equipped with all facilities and amenities. Terminal 2 is an international terminal, which handles many international flights. Inaugurated in July 2010, this terminal started its operation on September 2010. The design of this terminal resembles that of Singapore Changi Airport. There are arrival and departure sections. You can also find four aerobridges and 32 check-in counters. With a total floor area of 41,000 square meters, this terminal can accommodate 1,600 passengers at a time. The terminal has also won the award for best steel structure in the Natural Structural Steel Design and Construction Awards.
Used for secondary traffic, this terminal 3 is mainly used during Hajj season. You can find here a huge car parking facility, which accommodates around 200 cars. Terminal 3 handles around 500 passengers during peak time.
This terminal is mainly for cargo purpose and is known as Cargo terminal. The terminal handles more than 56 percent of international cargo. In 2014, there was an announcement of a dedicated cargo terminal at terminal 3.
